The Great San Diego Smoke-out 2015

During fall quarter, CSHP-UCSD's Tobacco Cessation community outreach team had our biggest event of the year- The Great San Diego Smoke-out! This year, we collaborated with 12 community pharmacies throughout San Diego to counsel customers on the importance of tobacco cessation and the resources they can use if they are ready to quit. Our student pharmacists were able to speak to more than 60 patients about the benefits of tobacco cessation and provide insight on how to approach the quitting process. Shout-out to all the community pharmacies, pharmacists, and student pharmacists who participated in the event- Thank you for making this event a success this year!
