Come learn about how to network with Dr. Nancy Yam, Director of Pharmacy for UC San Diego Health and Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration program.Dr. Yam will share valuable insights on how to make and maintain meaningful professional connections—an essential skill for building your career.

We did a short presentation about the importance of asthma education, signs and symptoms, what we can do for patients as pharmacists and some available treatments. This was followed by a few hands-on, interactive demonstration activity where students get to practice using metered-dose inhalers, diskhalers and peak flow meters. We finished off with a session of Q&A to answer questions.
