PRYDE Outreach - Montgomery Middle School

CSHP PRYDE Tobacco/Drug Abuse- We went to a local San Diego middle school and taught the children important lessons in tobacco cessation. We used a powerpoint presentation to show students the detriments of smoking and how it could impact not only their health, but those around them. The children learned about the different kinds of smoking and how nicotine can be packaged into many different forms. At the end, we performed a skit to teach them how to avoid real life situations that may arise with friends about tobacco.
